The rig is low aspect Bermudian Cutter with roller furling genoa, hanked on staysail and main sail with three slab reefs, but only the lower two of which are roped up. The top shrouds are individually grounded on each side to a Dynoplate for lightning protection.

The main sail is guided down by conventional lazy jacks and is fully battened. The mast is of extra thickness and has steps to the top on which is a tri-colour with very low amperage LED light, VHF aerial and Windex. On the mast is a Firdel radar reflector and steaming light. The mast has twin back stays and running back stays for heavy weather support of the jib stay.

There is a manual anchor windlass, a pair of running lights at the bow and a Bruce anchor and chain.

In the cockpit there are two large cockpit lockers. The starboard side locker has a s/s 20 gallon water tank. The port locker has a fibreglass 20 gallon deisel tank and a poly 11 gallon fuel day tank, which can be removed for cleaning when necessary. This day tank gravity feeds the engine.

There is a small stern locker which has a manual bilge pump and VHF radio unit for cockpit use. A s/s gallows has a solar panel, 2 aerial units for GPS and the lower VHF aerial. On the cockpit bulkhead is a depth sounder guage, new compass and Furuno GPS, visible through a watertight port.

On the stern is a trim tab wind steering in s/s, as yet untested.

The floor of the cockpit has a bottom well under it for liferaft storage (no life raft). The cockpit has two high level drains and two low level drains. There are sheet winches for a genoa and sheet winches for the staysail. The cockpit has a small bimini that folds back against the gallows and a spray hood over the hatch entrance.
